Dorothy Louise Wescott, Dotty, came into the world on a sunny Massachusetts day, August 6, 1933. One of my favorite photos is of a two-year-old Dotty posing for a photographer who had come to town. Her head had been recently shaved due to illness, but she was still a doll. Dotty In 1957 she became a June bride. She and Landen had three children, Lisa, Bonnie and wee Mr. Décor. It wasn’t easy raising children on the edge of a jungle in Panama, but she made a lovely home. Dotty ... View the Post
The Beatles Were Right
These photos were taken by our friends and favorite photographers, Lee and Cindy Reeves back in December. The Beatles were right, love is all you need. The Beatles Were Right They were meant to be included in our Christmas cards sent to friends and family all over the globe. A few days after this photo session occurred our lives were forever changed. When we looked at the images weeks later it was as if we no longer recognized the people in these pictures. For those of you unfamiliar with the art of Bento, it is a single-portion meal originating in Japan. A traditional bento consists of rice, fish or meat, and one or more pickled or cooked vegetables, packed artistically in a box-shaped container. I will stop right here and let you know I DO NOT take it to ... View the Post
