Last week Mr. Decor inquired about the state of the cuffs on my long sleeved blouse. While I am a regular wearer of aprons they don’t protect my arms and their accompanying fabric from paint, glue and the other DIY gloriousness I get myself into. I have ruined more than one shirt from such shenanigans. So here is How To Avoid Looking Like a DIY Disaster. One of the art history classes I am taking this semester is entitled “The Portrait”. A Spring Makeover For Less

A Quick Fix for an Ugly Faux Plant Not wanting to pay that much I kept my eyes open and finally found an entire row of this somewhat unappealing specimen at the store At Home. They were marked down to ... View the Post
Trash to Treasure Valentine Treats
A few weeks ago I talked about how I was making valiant attempts to clean my office/ sewing/craft room. Honestly, it’s going to take me some time. But I recently created some sweet treats from things I almost decided to throw away. Here is my Trash to Treasure Valentine Treats. Trash to Treasure Valentine Treats If you are a crafter you no doubt have bits and bobs of things sitting in boxes, tins, and folders. As I was cleaning I came across vintage doily placemats torn beyond traditional ... View the Post
