Stunning Thanksgiving Vignettes

Welcome to the Stunning Thanksgiving Vignettes Tour.

Thanksgiving Vignette 019-001

We are so happy that you are here! This week several of your favorite bloggers will be showcasing a vignette or presenting a room tour of inspiring Thanksgiving ideas for the home.

Today’s tour will begin with Laura from Decor To Adore.

I love to create seasonal vignettes. A huge impact can be made with just a small collection of items.

Thanksgiving Vignette 032-002

The beauty of vignettes is that you can enjoy a bit of bliss even if the rest of your home is in disarray.

Thanksgiving Vignette 008

Last year I started thinking about creating a metallic, yet still neutral, Thanksgiving arrangement for our table. I gathered elements that included a basic cornucopia from Decorators Warehouse, pinecones from our yard and fall floral and fauna found at the Dollar Store.

The items in this faux arrangement were individually transformed with various colors of spray paint and glitter.

They were then rearranged within and around the cornucopia and placed on a silver platter found at the thrift store.

I hope you have enjoyed this vignette that is traditional but somewhat unexpected.

Up next on the tour is Rhoda from Southern Hospitality. She is a master at layering seasonal colors and textures. You must go visit and see it all!

Then we have Mary Alice from Chateau Chic. Her home is always a cozy delight and her dried seasonal arrangement and other touches are a must see!

She is followed by Janet from Shabby Fufu. Janet is sharing a gorgeous tablescape that features a creative autumnal centerpiece that you won’t want to miss.

Christine from Rustic Refined beautifully rounds out Monday’s tours with seasonal color so make sure you stop by.

Aren't you smart Laura, I love the sparkly neutrals! I am tired of the same old colors for Thanksgiving and this is wonderful, and a great way to transition into Christmas- Thanks for hosting this fun blog hop!

Laura, I always love to see your creativity and this is no exception. I'm blown away by how you create and do so beautifully. I appreciate that you do it considering someone you're inspiring may be on a budget. The result here is so classic and elegant, yes, it is not a traditionally colored Thanksgiving centerpiece but it is beautiful. Really transformed all the elements you gathered. (and you've encouraged me to take up my blogging again, although I'm not as creative as you)

Beautiful, Laura! I went with simplicity this year. I put a Cinderella pumpkin on a grape vine wreath, added some bittersweet and placed it all on a silver tray for the center of my table. Easy! It will last and be low enough for Thanksgiving dining. A win / win!
