Thoughts of Home on Thursday #6

Welcome to Week number 6 of Thoughts of  Home on Thursday.

The funniest thing happens when people have blogs and blog readers. Friendships are formed between people who may never meet but share common loves.  Thanks to you, our friends, for joining this linky party every week and amazing us with your talents and kindness.

This week's post and giveaway is being hosted by Stacey of Poofing the Pillows.

We've chosen a few posts to highlight this morning. We know you'll enjoy these plus others that you visit.

Decorating

Martha + Jane and her son put their special touch on a lampshade and the result is like a party up in the air!

Recipes

At Meatloaf and Melodrama, Dee shared the cutest bird's nest cupcakes that are topped with edible Easter grass. Kids and adults alike will love these.

Gardening

At Just Jan Blog we were treated to spring blooming flowers that were brought into the house to make beautiful vignettes.

I posted my comment on Stacey's blog speaking at plural persuaded that it would have appeared on the web page of every blogger who kindly hosts this lovely party, but I was mistaken, please forgive me, also for the previous weeks !
So thank you, my dear Laura, for hosting me today too !

Have a wonderful day, today
sending blessings of joy to you

Thank you, Laura, for inviting me to post this week. I've been interested in this link up, but with teaching full time, my days and evenings are jam-packed. I'm on spring break and feeling very creative, and I have time to visit some other posts. I hate posting a link myself when I cannot participate fully by commenting on others' posts.

Hi Dear Laura,

Thank you for your visit and sweet comments. I appreciate the invitation to join "Thoughts of Home." I keep forgetting about it because it's so new and also I've gotten out of the habit of joining blog parties. Trying to do more of that now. :)

Have a lovely day, my friend!!

Hugs,

Denise at Forest Manor
