Inspiring Images

The second week of Thoughts of Home on Thursday had so many spectacular entries that truly shined. Here are a few images that have inspired me.

Christine from Rustic and Refined created a darling rustic farmhouse centerpiece. I have a similar tool caddy but what really caught my eye was the burlap and lace tassels. I have so much lace I might just have to try and make one for myself.

D.D.’s Cottage and Design gave an old empire dresser new life with an amazing makeover.

As the mother of a teen boy it is so hard to create a “cute, yet masculine” space. Cristina from Remodelando la Casa completely knocked it out of the park with the room she designed for her son.

Lastly, Jann from Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson provided a sweet reminder that Easter’s on its way. I adore the wee spring baskets she and her friends made.

I hope you will join us for tomorrow’s gathering. Laura from White Spray Paint is hosting and she has a terrific giveaway planned.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

So many lovely photos and so much inspiration from everyone. How kind of everyone to open their homes and share their projects and decorating ideas.
Thank you for being so sweet! :)

See you tomorrow at TOHOT where I'm sure there will be lots and lots of more great inspiration for spring.

Lovely inspiration!

And I want to bring back the smock too! It would be so much better than wearing my old painting clothes :)

As far as gardening advice... I used to buy lots of annuals and although I still buy a few, I go for perennials in most of the yard now. What I've learned though is that plants in the zone one less than yours seem to do better. So instead of buying zone 7, I buy zone 6.

I just want to fall into that bed with the red sheets and pretty white! Seeing the Easter reminds me that the holiday is early this year! I'm not fond of early Easter -- it creeps up on a girl!
