Bloggers Holiday Luncheon

The First Annual Bloggers Holiday Luncheon was an amazing success!

Given that most of us had never met one another in person I thought it would be helpful to create name tags from vintage holiday images in a prize ribbon style.
It was such fun getting to know this wonderful group.

Back row left to right~ Katie of Let's Add Sprinkles, Stacey from Poofing the Pillows, Julie from Lilacs and Longhorns, Lisa of Hospitable Pursuits, longtime reader and adorable new friend Darla, Eilis from My Heart Lives Here. Bottom row left to right~ yours truly and Judith from Botanic Blue.
Everyone brought so many delicious dishes and wonderful offerings for the luncheon/cookie exchange.
This photo by Lisa of Hospitable Pursuits.
Simple party favors featured seasonal cookie cutters along with happy greetings for the season.

Special thanks to the Fashionista who took the day off to help me prepare for this festively fun event.
In closing, I would like to mention that this is my 1500th post (it kind of snuck up on me :). It seems fitting that it occurred on a post featuring new blogging friends. I could never have imagined that when I began blogging almost eight years ago that it would lead me on such an amazing journey. Over the years I have met some truly wonderful people both online and in person! I want to thank each and every one of you who have shared such fantastic love, positivity and support over the years. You all are truly a blessing to me.

Such a great idea and it looks like it was a success! Meeting fellow bloggers in person is very special. Everyone and everything looks beautiful and of course your very own helper looks fabulous!

Hi Laura, so glad you lovely girls had a great time for the luncheon and cookie exchange. I sure missed seeing you all but look forward to another time in the future. Love the name tags you made for everyone and the group pic is lovely. Looks like you had a beautiful helper. Your daughter is so pretty just like her mother.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas filled with blessings. xo

Everything was wonderful, but best of all was getting to meet each other in person. Sitting around the table talking about the same kinds of things 'real-life' friends discuss was a real treat. All of you look amazing in the photo, but I have to say, the photo reminds me why there is no photo of me on my blog. hahahaha
