Bits of Bliss for the End of May

For the first time in five years I am writing this post using blogger. I quickly remembered why I quit using it and have been happily using Windows Live Writer. Yesterday Blogger did some updates and of course threw a monkey wrench in the works.... I am hoping they get the issue resolved quickly.

But let's focus on the pretty and positive.

So proud of this girl who is making her dreams come true. The Fashionista is setting out to become THE stylist for bands. This dream combines her love and two degrees in Fashion Design and Music History. (If you know of a band with an upcoming photo shoot who needs a stylist email us!)

Continuing the proud mom moment. Sweet Guy recently volunteered his experience as a Boy Scout color guard for a local Memorial Day ceremony. (He is shown with Retired General and Mrs. Lynch.) Today he will be accepting a few scholastic and artistic awards at his school's 7th grade ceremony. #bustingbuttons

Bought this summer weight utility jacket and love it! I have paired it with both jeans and sundresses and it looks great.  It's also on sale.

Lastly, the laundry room is 95% done. Here's a sneak peek of what's to come on Monday.

May you find your bits of bliss,

That's a lot of badges for a 7th grader! Appears to me as if someone is ready to start his Eagle journey. No wonder you are proud. And I love the romantic fairyland photo of the Fashionista!

You have good reason to be proud with both children. They are really exceptional. Can't wait to see the laundry room.

Its so hard to believe we are heading into the last weekend of May! Congratulations to both your son and daughter...and the proud Mom and Dad. Ya done a good job there! :)
Love the light fixture in your laundry room. Can't wait to see the rest of the room. Your jacket is adorable! It will be so cute on a cool morning or chilly evening.
Now to get ready for June! Have a great weekend and hope the flooding isn't anywhere near you or your family and friends. Hearing so many sad news reports.
