The Drop Box

I LOVE to read/hear about one person making a difference in the world . I know from previous posts that you, dear reader, do too.

Today I bring you the awesome story of Christian testimony put into action. One man and his family, in Seoul, South Korea, that are making a difference: Pastor Lee Jong-rak.

New adoption laws passed in August of 2012 now make it almost impossible for abandoned infants to be adopted. A more in-depth documentary can be viewed here.

My prayer this week is that every child on this earth find the love they all deserve.

Laura

"Beware that you don't despise a single one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels are always in the presence of my heavenly Father.” ~ Matthew 18:10

This really hit close to home ... I am so sad for those babies ... I hope that he can continue to help them...

That pastor is one of the most loving people I have ever seen. I can't believe they shut down his baby box and effectively doomed those infants to the life of an institution. I pray that the situation is reversed and that the babies are able to be adopted either by parents in Korea or by parents abroad. My heart has always been for orphans and the elderly.

I can always count on you to spread the good word --
and the word is love.
You made my day.

Laura, so glad that you shared this! I have two children born in Korea; they were both surrendered by birth mothers however we do have friends that have adopted children who were abandoned. There's a verse in Isa. that says, "I will bring your children from the East and gather you from the West, I will say to the North do not hold them back..." I love knowing that the Lord picked my children for us, they are the most wonderful kids who bring us such joy. Adoption is amazing!
