Happy New Year and a Sneak Peek at a Finished Project!

Happy New Year! I love the idea of a fresh start don’t you?

I think the past two weeks has been the longest break I’ve ever taken from blog writing . The time was spent happily focusing on my family, contemplating who I want to be this year and working on many exciting new projects.

This new year will hold many changes for our family, most of which are still unknown, but we are facing them with happiness and excitement. One thing that we know for sure is that we will be moving somewhere, sometime in 2014. So with that knowledge we  are now working on projects that are not necessarily permanent in our current home.

However we did do one large project late last fall that will finally be shared on Friday.

Here’s a sneak peek:

Oh I know, that photo is completely mean.

Is it a fabulous fenced in back yard? If so, then call me pre-envious. I have always wanted one. I like boundaries.

Glad you had a nice rest with family and a Merry Christmas. I'm back from a very, very, long blog nap. I can't believe you're moving again. It seems like yesterday that you miraculously found your house in the 11th hour.

I'll be back to see your project.

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year! I am sorry I haven't been around much lately but I don't feel quite as bad now that I see you have taken a wee well deserved break as well.
The stress of now knowing can be so difficult and frustrating but I am sure the love of your family and your faith will get all of you through just fine. Maybe Canada will beckon you across the border! :)
Onwards to 2014! Get ready to take it on. :D

Oh yes, I meant to tell you I love that freshly sawn wood and the big black hinge...I am thinking fence gate or some sort of enclosure for the yard. Hmmmm....can't wait to see what you are up to! :)
