What True Love Looks Like

I think every young couple preparing to marry should watch this video. Be forewarned you may need a tissue and then want to hug everybody.

Hugs to you,

Laura

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” ~ Ephesians 4:2-3

What a beautiful story. Although my mother didn't have Alzheimers, she was very ill the last couple of years of her life and my step-father cared for her 24/7 until she passed away in 2003. A couple of years ago he was diagnosed with Alzheimers and I was lucky enough to find a wonderful assisted living care facility where he will be safe and have loving care. It was a struggle because he refused to leave his home in NC and I had to take him to court to gain guardianship (I'm the only living "relative"). People often ask me why I bother to travel the six hour round trip every couple of weeks to see him since he probably won't remember. How could I not?

Oh Laura, thanks so much for sharing the story of this precious couple. My father became very ill and passed away last year and I can't tell you what a blessing it was and how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to witness their tender love toward one another.
