Last Day To Wave At The School Bus

Today is the last day of school. I am ready to win the battle of a long hot summer and bored kids.

I’ve spent several weeks creating a fun calendar which I will be sharing with you on a weekly basis.

I always appreciate really creative parents.

Three years ago, stay at home dad, Dale Price, found out that his son’s bus, bound for the high school, would drive right past his house.

On the first day he just stood outside and waved. But on the second day he put on his Chargers jersey and helmet.

Everyday it got better and better.

He started posting the daily photos on his blog Wave At The Bus.

Thank you Dale for sharing these happy pics.

Now if you’ll excuse me I need to get my two wiener dogs dressed to go wave at Sweet Boy’s bus. (Something I do every morning.)

Don't you appreciate people with such creativity and a sense of humor, although I am sure his children may think differently!

Laura,
Thank you and Dale for my first smile of the day! Unfortunately, I am sure this won't be fully appreciated by his children until they are long graduated and realize others were laughing with them not at them.

Oh he is so hilarious! That toilet scene, oh my.
I somehow bet since his son was in high school he wasn't chuckling as much as I am.
Someday he will though.
Hugs friend,
Cindy
My son the Phoenix teacher just finished his last day of school. It must be harder to keep them occupied when it is so hot outside. Here we finally have great weather.

Laura- Thank you for stopping by my new blog and website! Love you!

Do all those kids rush to one side of the bus when they pass his house? Oh, so funny!

LOL! I LOVE the wedding dress!

What a cute idea. I am so glad that school is over... and yet at the same time I grieve the freedom that school gives me to get stuff done without the constant demands and whiney-ness of my kids... sigh. yay. summer.

Hi, Laura!

Rochelle writes her blog about her husband Dale. It's awesome. I love how it's all about their family, and they do a podcast, too. I'm gonna check it out!

Thanks for introducing me to the Price fam!
