Day 24 ~ Again.

Did you see the goof yesterday? Two posts in one day. I write my blog posts via Windows Live Writer. It is not uncommon for me to work on two posts at the same time. Early Monday evening I was trying to finish the true Tuesday Nate Berkus post, and really struggling to complete the Wednesday Thanksgiving Tabletop Ideas post. I walked away to make dinner. Big mistake. Sweet Boy got on the computer and had some fun. I was SO tired that I forgot to go back and double check everything and it wasn't until Tuesday morning that I found out two posts had run.

Nice. I am having a hard enough time trying to bring 31 quality posts in 31 days as it is.

The glitch knocked the wind out of my blogging sails so I walked away from the computer and decided to work on a project. I needed my fabric glue for said project and found that the bottle had tipped over and leaked one big mess all over everything. It took 20 minutes to pry up this ball of goop.

So obviously it was time to walk away from the project. Perhaps breakfast was in order. Except that the eggs I cooked slid off the plate and…

It appears that I have been struck by a case of the mean reds.

I then spotted this huge stack of magazines on my nightstand. I have been saying I was going to go through them and take several issues with me to pass on at a Friday luncheon with friends.

That settles it. I’m climbing back in.

Question: “You see the shoes above ~ is there an age limit on saddle shoes?” Because this 40 something would like a pair.

Laura, if it helps at all, we all have days like that when it seems everything goes wrong! I certainly know I have! And on the shoes - if you want some go for it! In my opinion if you love it who cares what age you are!!

So glad days like this are not the norm- makes us extra thankful for those "normal" days!

That pile of magazines looks so inviting!!!!

why is it when one thing goes wrong it then becomes a landslide. Yep, back to bed sounds good!
My cousin found some saddle shoes at a resale shop and couldn't help but take them back to display in her bedroom at 1515.

We all have those days, Laura. That's the day I stop doing any projects I had planned, too, because I know something will go wrong!

Laura,
Well, it could have been worse. You could have discovered a scorpion on/in your bed!
Thanks for the smiles.
I have a pair of pink and white saddle {golfing} shoes. :)

Oh my, you had one of my Tuesdays. Mondays and Friday the 13th have nothing on my Tuesdays. From the time I was very young, I realized Tuesdays were horrible days. Every thing from the last pair of stockings had a run or a pop quiz to being late for work on Tuesdays when I was a little older to my world falling apart. It's not as bad now since I am older and am a little better prepared. Usually like you I get a stack of magazines I love and crawl back under the covers for awhile. Chocolate helps too. :D
Hope the rest of your week goes better! {{{Hugs}}} :)

Oh yes, and you could totally carry off the saddle shoes. Go for it! :)

Sometimes Days like this make you want to crawl back to bed with a cozy throw and read the rest of the day!

Sounds kind of like a day in the life of Debbie. This is the point where we Georgians always add... bless you heart...

And I still have a pair of saddle shoes up in my mother's attic. Haven't thought of them in years.

Lots of days I would love to "climb back in" and pull the covers over my head! Saddle shoes at 40 something? Go for it!

Glad I'm not the only one who has days like that. Ha. Perhaps sleeping in somedays is what the doctor ordered. Just sayin!

I posted hastily the other day and didn't get the title beyond a "working title" before hitting publish. I did edit and add to the title a bit, but like you, I wasn't very pleased with my quality. I don't think I even re-read it before publishing. 31 Days is harder than I thought!

Your posts are great. I couldn't tell which ones you weren't pleased with. ;)

Days like this happen to us all. And it's wonderful to hide away with a stack of magazines. I hope you took some chocolate with you.

Saddle shoes and daisy duke shorts, probably not, but saddle shoes, a pair of ankle socks and a 1940's style dress! Absolutely!

Some days are just like that!

Ha Ha Laura! This post made me laugh (in sympathy, of course). It seems we've all had days like this. It's how we handle them that makes all the difference. Chin Up! Stiff upper lip and all that. Whot whot?
