I was recently posed the question from another blogger of how could I, as a Christian, not only celebrate Halloween, but in some ways promote it. This is not a new topic of conversation. For many years the Christian community has struggled with the innocent and fun merrymaking against the ghoulish undertones of this holiday. I myself grew up in a farming community where the harvest was celebrated. My elementary school’s biggest fund raiser was the school carnival held every October. ... View the Post

Atlantic~Pacific Monogram Necklace Knockoff
One of my very favorite fashion blogs to read is Atlantic~Pacific. I adore Blair’s style. She has a seemingly effortless, but very elegant, way of putting pieces together. I love how she wears jewelry. So I created an Atlantic~Pacific Monogram Necklace Knockoff. Atlantic~Pacific Monogram Necklace Knockoff Often her outfits are things that I myself would never think to pair. But I am so inspired by her creativity. The Patina Style of Sweet Salvage
Every month a fabulous four day shopping event begins on the third Thursday in Phoenix. Sweet Salvage features various vendors who create amazing booths filled to the brim with beautiful vignettes of treasures collected from near and far. Each month there is an entirely fresh and new design theme. September’s offering was “French Market” and it did not disappoint. I spied the lovely lantern on the left right away. Spooktacular Gardens
While we were in California our dear friend took the opportunity to find us a bit of fall. A visit to Roger’s Garden’s, in Corona Del Mar, did not disappoint. But boil, boil, toil and trouble lurked around the corner in Blackstone Theater. ... View the Post
Holiday Rooooooad!
Who loved the 1980’s classic theatrical gem National Lampoon’s “Vacation”? Sweet Boy and I recently hit the Holiday Rooooooad! We were on a quest to go to see dear friends and visit Legoland during his fall break. The boy LOVES his lego’s and was beyond excited. Remember the scene when Clark finally ends his horribly disastrous drive across the country only to discover that Wally World was closed? It’s really not so funny when it happens in real life and you have a tearful 10-year-old ... View the Post
Saying Boo to a Bad Bathroom
I’ve been spending a lot of time in the bathroom lately. No, not like that. I’ve been trying to find a way to fall in love with it. Strangely enough, 97% of master bathrooms in Phoenix have no doors. Yes, you read that right. No doors. I’d like to talk with the man who thought that was a good design idea. (Yes, I am sure it was a man.) Saying Boo to a Bad Bathroom. The entryway into our master bath is over 9 ft tall. It would take an incredible amount of good luck finding a door to fit that ... View the Post
