Very interesting ceremony. Will she wear a white dress later or is the blue one it?

I watched this live on Germany TV. Unfortunately (for me) it was all subtitled in German. My rudimentary French got a real workout though. :)
I've attended 3 civil ceremonies here in Germany (2 in English, 1 in both English and German) and they are just as quick and impersonal. I think they're odd, but I guess you have to follow the law or you're not really married, since the church service has no legal standing.
I thought they both looked nervous and a bit uncomfortable. It must be weird to be in that kind of a fishbowl. Her outfit though was stunning. The color was lovely and the cut spectacular and incredibly flattering. If I were tall and slim like she is, I'd totally wear something similar every single day.
I absolutely fell in love with Monaco last year. If I could, I would live there. Not just because it's full of rich people and luxury shops (though that's a plus-James Bond had to practically drag me away from the LV window display. You know I need a LV croquet set in it's own travel trunk, right? ), but because it's so pretty and the people were just so very friendly. BTW, we had a drink at the Cafe de Paris, right outside the big casino and small cokes were €8 each!
I hope Albert and Charlene are happy together and that it won't be too long before Monaco will have it's long awaited (legitimate) heir. Can't wait for the big wedding!!!!!

Such a beautiful summer for lovely weddings! I could not help but think of you when I just visited my friend in Scotland, Rosie's blog. Her son was just married and she shares her own personal, gorgeous photos and a short video of the Scottish music - you will really love it at:
Tell Rosie that I sent you!!! She is so proud!
Happy 4th to you and your family.

the couple. Liked your Wii
token post, too. Read it on
my phone but wasn't able to
comment at the time. Hope

Laura, thanks so much for posting this. I was able to watch it due to other commitments. Very dry even for a civil ceremony, non?

She is beautiful and I believe Princess Grace would have liked her. I can't image that many people staring at every move I made and evaluating everything. The french language is so beautiful! Although I could not understand what they were saying I enjoyed listening.

Thanks Laura for all your hard work keeping us in the know.
