As Requested, Mother of the Bride (Princess Anne) Images

Thank you for all your kind comments about the latest Royal Wedding post. This image of the happy couple was just released by the Queen. It is lovely.

Several of you emailed and wondered why I didn’t include a mother of the bride (Princess Anne) image. So here you are. Remember to behave like ladies. With that in mind, coral red is an excellent color for Princess Anne, shown with the groom’s father, Phil Tindall. Mr. Tindall sadly suffers from Parkinson’s disease so Princess Anne gets massive points for being kind.

Princess Anne Princess Anne, Princess Royal and Phil Tindall depart from the Royal wedding of Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall at Canongate Kirk on July 30, 2011 in Edinburgh, Scotland. The Queen's granddaughter Zara Phillips will marry England rugby player Mike Tindall today at Canongate Kirk. Many royals are expected to attend including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Princess Anne at Friday’s reception cocktail. I adore the sweet seahorse broach.

Princess Anne - Security and workers begin preparing Canongate Kirk for the wedding of Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall in Edinburgh

Forgive me for also not including an image of Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, shown with her husband, Prince Edward, who looks quite dashing.

Let’s finish with just one more image of the dear Duchess. Very nice.

Now remember, kindness counts.

The way things are. I don't need to be "kind" with the Princess Royal as I was so pleasantly surprised when she left the car with her husband and Mark Phillips' wife (who passes unnoticed by the press giving us hint of how elegant she was. wonderfully so).

Princess Anne chose well the tones and the style that suited her and I liked her fascinator. At the pre-wedding dinner she didn't make such a big effort but then everyone else was pretty relaxed and she mingled perfectly.

Countess of Wessex was, for me, one of the most elegant at both events. Along with Catherine who keeps her demure in every appearance.

I will be kind. The photos of Princess Anne confirmed for me what I supposed was your reasons for not including her in the first place. She is a fabulous horsewoman, and I heard last night that her daughter Zara, may follow in her footsteps and participate in the 2012 Olympics. See, I was kind!

Gorgeous princess bride! I never saw her, and didn't imagin such pretty girl, as mother, the princess, is not attractive at all and never was! They all look great today, though, I love the mother's outfit, fits her terrific! Hugs, FABBY

Thanks so much for doing these wonderful Royal Wedding posts, Laura! You do such a great 'job'! I love the wedding gown & the bouquet's scrumptious. The flower girls & maid of honor are just right - simple & elegant. Some of the family don't select the best attire for flattering themselves, but Her Majesty the Queen knows - or has someone who knows - how to do it.
One thing I noticed especially is that both these British couples (Prince William & Kate, Zara & Mike)look happy & 'in love' - Prince Albert of Monaco didn't so much. (Maybe because he's older & also the reigning monarch while these younger couples don't have his concerns.)

Again kudos to you for all your research & searching for the wonderful photos & details!
xoxo Jane-Jacksonville

Laura,

Have no idea what was going on this past weekend, but I could not access your blog. So happy you featured this wedding as well. The first photo of the newly weds (on this post) is stunning. Coral is a lovely summer hue. (Is that nice enough?) When are you going to reveal your true identity -- You are more than the Duchess of Decor aren't you?! :D

Your Friend,
Deborah

The Wild Child certainly was a radiant bride. I think your photos of the Princess Royal are great. For a mother of the bride she got pretty short shrift, I thought. She is really down to earth. Refuse titles for the kids and is pretty no nonsense. Good on her!!!
