Get Grace Kelly’s Look~ A Grand Giveaway

It’s no secret that Grace Kelly had amazing style. As a confirmed dress and skirt wearer I have often encountered tedious searches to find well made feminine apparel that feature the classic lines Miss Kelly so favored.  I sat up and took notice when Shabby Apple came on the scene.

Grace often selected simple dresses for her everyday outings such as sailing…

gks

… or playing a simple game of shuffleboard.

gkd

Casual dresses worked well when walking on deck with Oliver her poodle...

…or enjoying the sunset.

She always had sophisticated style for grand occasions such as meeting her Prince…

…to casual elegance on simple outings with children, one of which appears to be a baby on board.

The classically styled “Lighthouse” dress is flattering on all shapes. I am thrilled that one Décor To Adore reader will win it. It is from the Set Sail collection that also features such nautical niceness  as “Overboard”…

…and the striped seersucker “Above Deck” skirt

Bring out your inner Miss Kelly and grace the shore, park, or store~ perhaps even have the perfect picnic while wearing the fetching “Lighthouse” frock. This lightweight dress is made from white cotton lawn with an under-bodice of cotton voile in Grace Kelly’s favorite color~ butter yellow. You are sure to be ship shape for all your summer soirees.

All U.S. Residents are invited to enter the “Lighthouse” dress giveaway. You don’t even have to be a follower of Décor To Adore.

1. Just visit Shabby Apple women’s dresses and pick your favorite frock.

2. Come back and leave a comment here.

The winner will be selected by the random number generator on Monday, June 23, 2011 at 9 am EST.

Hey darlin! Thanks for visiting my blog...I was just tickled pink by your last Grace Kelly post that I had to tweet it.

My fave dress from Shabby Apple (for the moment anyway) is the Fitzgerald. Honestly, I don't think the dress would really suite my thick, curvy, but it sure is beautiful on the model!

Great giveaway! I must share this with my readers!

I am in love with Shabby Apple. I love their clothes. Gorgeous.

I like all their designs, but I went in and looked specifically for pear shape. Just love their designs. It's really hard to choose a favorite. And then I discovered they had children's clothes. What a great company. Awesome. I like the dress you are giving away and I hope to win.

I think the red checked dress is great, too.

I love the one you're giving away... but if I bought one, it would be the tantilzingly-named "Fork Tailed Devil" silk dress:

http://www.shabbyapple.com/p-902-fork-tailed-devil.aspx

It looks like one of those dresses you would wear and love for years and never get tired of- actually, both that dress and the Lighthouse dress would fit that description!

And I'm definitely a skirt/dress wearer, especially during the summer; they are SO much cooler here in South Carolina!

Grace Kelley. What a gorgeous woman. What style. I'm not a dress/skirt wearer, but I WANT to be. I love the Shabby Apple dresses. I prefer their shirt dresses (as I think this would be a good way to ease into dresses). The Overboard, Toe the Line and Madison Ave are my favorites. BTW, 'technically' I'm a US Resident (I reside on what is considered US soil) and I have a US address! Sign me up!
