Friday Freebie

Recently, I was contacted by Tina of Garden Goose. She asked if I had a chance to view some of her husband's fantastic vinyl decals at his Etsy shop. I adore decals so I took a peak and fell in love!

The designer of the decals is Paul Wilson. He is extremely talented. Paul began his career in sign shops and went on to work at a newspaper and then for the Air Force developing publications, magazines and other printed media. His last job was as a marketing director. It was not the best fit for Paul as he longed for "hands on" design work. Lucky for us he gave it all up to become a freelance designer.

The decals are so easy to apply and many are repositionable. Several of the decals are also available in a wide variety of colors.

Isn't this train so realistic? There are several other designs that would be perfect for a child's room.

This vintage cowgirl just speaks to me. I would look for an old frame at a flea market and hang it over the image.

The decals are perfect for individuals who may be renting or don't want to commit to permanent images on their walls. They are also quite reasonable and start at $2.50.

Paul has graciously offered to give away a beautiful chandelier decal to one lucky Decor to Adore reader. Please visit his Etsy site and take a look. Then leave ONE comment telling us what your favorite decal image is. I will select a winner on Monday , March 30th.

Good luck and thank you Paul!
UPDATE: The random number generator selected Carrie of Oak Rise Cottage as the winner. Congratulations Carrie! I can't wait to see where you hang your chandelier.

Laura the links to his site are not working. They list your blog and his site so you get an 404 error.

But I love his 15 Assorted Mini Butterfly Decals. My CG is a butterfly fan and she could use these in her dorm room.

Hello Laura
I've seen these decals on etsy. Not sure if they are Pauls. I saw one that would be perfect in my sons room, it was of a snowboarder. I think these decals look great in a modern setting where a punch of interest is needed. I also see these decals work well in a childs bedroom.
Have a great day!

Hi Laura,
Came over from Aunties with Advice. What a pretty blog you have. I visited the decal shop and love the Saphire butterflies. Although the vintage cowgirl is very nice too.

Hi Laura,
I love these decals!! The train one looks so real, my dad and I use to work for the GTW Railroad. The tree would make a great "family tree" wall art but my favorite is the birdcage!
I did not see a link to Paul's etsy shop, so I will try and plug in decals and not too many will show up....;-)

Hugs,
Noel

Hi Laura,

The link seems to be working now--

What wonderful graphics. I was drawn to the portholes with the ships, thinking it would be something my husband would enjoy since he's big into sailing and boats.

I think the bird cage is tres cute!!!

Oh Laura,
You have just created a monster. He has some VERY cool decals. My sons bathroom is done in sea shells and anchors so we decided we like the portholes best, but there are endless possiblities for which ones I could get my daughters.
I will definitely be back to his site.
*hugs*

Hi Laura!
I just wanted to stop by and thank you for your super kind comment about me on Joni's today ... and imagine my surprise when I see you're giving away that beautiful wall decal. I took a look around, and I happen to like the steampunk gears the best - but that chandelier opens my imagination up to many things. Please put my name in the hat. Keeping my fingers crossed! :) Happy Friday!

Laura, here's a weird coincidence: I have been wishing wishing wishing that my ceiling were high enough for a beautiful old chandelier. Alas, they are not and never will be. Just this morning I was thinking that the only way I was ever going to have a chandelier would be to purchase a wall decal of one. Lo and behold I'm catching up on my blog reading and get to your blog...

Anyway, I went to his shop and yet my favorite is...drumroll...the chandelier. ;o)

I think his work is great. As a retired muralist living in Senior housing I miss painting on the walls. I saw several that I would love to put in my place and I love the birdcage especially. Cute bit of whimsy.
