What is your current color palette? Friday Freebie

I am currently loving a seafoam, creme and brown color palette. It has now made its way into a few crafts that I have been working on for Christmas. Having signed up for a few vintage swaps and also wanting to heartfully give this season I have created a few journals. Each is a little different from the next.

I began with a 50 cent black and white hardbound college journal purchased in the school supplies section at Target.

I do scrapbook and save bits of paper leftover from pages I have created. After deciding on a color palette, I begin laying out a collage until it clicks "that's it".

The first layer of paper is glued onto the journal with plain white glue. I then stack a few phonebooks on top and let it dry for a few hours.

Then the fun begins by layering on the bits and bobs. I tie a ribbon around the first page of the book and personalize it with an initial.

The back is done in a similar fashion, but I keep it one dimensional.

I have also made up some tags to tie onto other gifts.

I just adore this darling girls sweet face.

Not in the same color palette, but still fun, are these scraps of fabric I have sewn into lavender sachets. They are topped with vintage seam binding and old jewelry bits. They also work well as pin cushions.

Onto Friday Freebie: Leave me a comment and on Monday I will select a winner to receive some lovely tags and a notebook.
Good luck!
UPDATE: The random number generator selected Priscila from Casa Bella Chic. Priscila has put alot of effort into creating the Vintage Christmas Swap and I am happy to pass this freebie on to thank her.

Your color combinations are beautiful, both on the journals and the sachets. What a great feeling it must be when all the pieces come together to make such delicate pretties.

Busy little hands you have had! Very sweet! Isn't it funny how our color palette's change...I wonder what that is all about? I am having difficulty with Christmas decor...because of my changing color palette from year to year! ~ Cheryl

Your notebooks and tags are great. Years ago(and I do mean years!) I had a blue and brown bedroom. I still love that combination. Have a great week!

Gorgeous notebooks! That little girl is cute. I can see why you favor her.

My color palette is always blue or beige, but I have picked out a new color for the house that is kind of a grayish green. Really, it's not as bad as it sounds.

Very pretty, Laura! The journals remind me of your altered Marshalls art -- which I saved in my ideas folder because I HAVE to try that myself someday. I have lots of paper scraps in browns and blacks, creams and greys right now -- I see collaged journals in their future! Thanks for the great ideas and have a happy weekend!

How beautiful! You definitely have a knack for creating gorgeous things! My current color palette that I'm loving is purples, burgandys, and greens.... I "created" a Thanksgiving "garland" and opted for that color scheme. Very non-traditional, but I'm really happy with it!

I love those colors. I found some primary school ruled composition books on the clearance aisle at our local Wal-mart. The top half of the page is blank for a drawing and the bottom half is for my little granddaughters to write stories. I think we'll decorate these book during the holidays. Thanks for the ideas! I love this color palette too, although the green I prefer tends more to celadon than seafoam.

You collages are amazing! I love the themes...music and birds. Your gift recipients will be very lucky!
